Product Description

Packing Mall Molecular Sieve 5A is an alkali alumina silicate; It is the calcium form of the Type A crystal structure. Type 5A molecular sieve has an effective pore opening of 0.5 nm.In addition to the functions of 3A and 4A molecular sieves, 5A molecular sieves can also adsorb C3-C4 n-alkanes, chloroethane, bromoethane, butanol, etc.,
and can be used for the separation of normal isomers, pressure swing adsorption separation and CO adsorption of water and carbon dioxide. 5A molecular sieve the silica / alumina ratio: SiO2 / Al2O3 ≈ 2.6-3.0 is a special molecular sieve produced to meet the special requirements
of cryogenic air separation industry, further improve the adsorption capacity of molecular sieve for carbon dioxide and water, and avoid freezing tower phenomenon in the air separation process. It can also be used for oxygen
enrichment.

REGENERATION

Packing Mall molecular sieve Type 5A can be regenerated by either heating in the case of thermal swing processes; Or by lowering
the pressure in the case of pressure swing processes. To remove moisture from a 5A molecular sieve, a temperature of 250-300ºC is required. A properly regenerated molecular sieve can give moisture dew points below -100ºC,
or mercaptan or CO2 levels below 2 ppmv. The outlet concentrations on a pressure swing process will depend on the gas present, and on the conditions of the process.


Typical Application

1. 5A molecular sieve as an excellent adsorbent, use for remove H2O, CO2, H2S from
sour natural gas streams,while mini missing COS formation. Light mercaptans are also adsorbed.

2. Zeolite 5A molecular sieve use for separation of normal and iso paraffin’s.

3.5A molecular sieves for production and purification of O2 and N2 gases and removing of CO from H2 stream.
